Simplicity
In what we call the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches about living up to often overcomplicated expectations—of the law, of others, and even expectations we generate for ourselves. But when we instead live up to God’s expectations, we find that a world pulling us in different directions begins to make more sense. Read the chapter at home beforehand and get a head start on thinking about how the Kingdom of God makes an overly complicated life simpler.
