Reconnect with God this Lent
One journey, many ways to join in.
Whether you study, pray, or serve, we hope you’ll choose one way to make this Lent a season of renewal for you and for our parish.
What is Lent?
In the western church, the forty days of Lent extend from Ash Wednesday—this year on February 18—through Holy Saturday, omitting Sundays. Originally a season of ‘penitence and fasting’ observed by early Christians, the tradition we now know as Lent imitates the forty days that Jesus spent in the wilderness, as recorded in Matthew 4 and Luke 4. This Lent, we invite you to choose one way to walk the season with fellow parishioners. Our shared anchor is a parish-wide reading of the Gospel of John, alongside several beloved practices that will help you reconnect with God and find rhythm in your faith throughout this 40-day season.

Dinner is provided by volunteers; you’re welcome to attend even if you can’t cook, and everyone is invited to pitch in as they’re able. A weekly commitment isexpected for Wednesdays. Reading ahead is encouraged, though no advance preparation is required. -
During Lent, we will observe the practice of Morning Prayer, in person, Monday through Saturday at 8:05 AM. Drop in or consider leading with church-provided guidance. Located in the sanctuary every day except for Thursdays, which will be held in the church library.
