On behalf of the entire Good Shepherd Episcopal Community, which includes the parish church and the school, I'd like to extend you a warm welcome. While I’m confident you will find helpful and valuable information on our website, I realize online communications are limited in their ability to convey the heart of a place. We’d like to get to know you and invite you to join us in person for a Sunday morning worship service, a mid-week Bible study or perhaps a special event you might find of interest.
We are a community in transition. The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd has occupied the same corner of real estate at the intersection of Midway Road and Northaven since 1956, serving as a spiritual home and as a launching pad of sorts for three generations of North Dallas families. During this time, the Dallas Metroplex has grown more populous and more diverse, providing the Good Shepherd Community with all the blessings and challenges of remaining true to its founding principles while seeking to engage its dynamic cultural landscape.
We invite you to become a meaningful part of the Good Shepherd story as we look with anticipation towards the next chapter in God’s plan for us. We trust you will find our community a place to belong.
