Children’s Sunday School

Sunday School for children 3 years old though 5th grade is 9:15-10:15 a.m. with Nursery available for children under 3.

Our 3-year-olds and Pre-K classes use the “Hands on Bible Curriculum,” where the kids explore Bible stories and characters with a hands-on learning approach. The Kindergarten through 5th grade children use a “rotation curriculum” - exploring the same story or concept for several weeks, using different learning approaches. Lessons may include storytelling, music, art, cooking, games, movies, and drama. Each week they will move deeper into their understanding of the story or concept in a new light and experience.

Children’s Sunday School Sharing Day

Adult Christian Education

Starbucks and the Everyday Class:

This group will continue to meet throughout the fall to discuss how we come into contact with the spiritual everyday through art, music, poetry, and current events. Topics of discussion will vary by week and no prior attendance (or reading) needed. Class meets at 9:30 in Kinkaid Pavilion and is hosted by David Pyke. Preceding the class, a hot pot of Starbucks coffee will be available, so come on down to Kinkaid, have a cup of brew, and sit and chat with your friends before moving onto the next activity. All are welcome!

Write a Sermon

A close look and discussion at the Old Testament, Psalm, Epistle and Gospel for the Sunday. Led by Rev. Jay Hobbs and Rev. Herb DeWees, this group discussion format will enable you to see where the ‘Preacher” that Sunday went with it all. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join in.
